MJ's Journal  now to finish my update from last night... on saturday morning i woke up and got ready to go. Danny was late like always so me and richard got in a few games of magic before he showed up. we got to best value inn with about a half hour to spare but when we got there a line had already formed for sign ups. I quickly got us all in line and then scaned the room fro joey but he was no where to be found. after getting signed up and getting my deck registered i called joey from dannys cell phone and found out that he had woken up late and was still at home. I told him to hurry up and got ready for round 1. The tournament isnt really important but what is important is that i went 5-3 which is ok but still not good enough fro prize. However Danny made top 4 and richard made top 8. After the ptq ended we all went to seans house and played poker. I did good in that. At about midnight we went to fireballs and spent the night again... none of us got up until about 2 in the pm. When we finally got going we decided to head back to averums but when we got there we found no magic players. apartently it was the day where all the other games show up and we were sorta out of the loop, I did find a few magic player and got some trade and even set up a small draft. I didnt do well in the draft but i still ended up with a few good rares. After that we dropped off richard and then me and danny when to KFC. Then i finally got home around 9 in the pm. I called denise and got yelled at cause i was suppose to hang out with her on sunday but instead i was at averums... my bad. not much else happened that day. i didnt really do much today. Orginized some cards, called denise, gave some cards to eric, watched tv with denise, and now im watching the stargates i missed. thats all i got for now Current mood:  exhausted.Current music: 911 for peace - anti-flag. OK.... man im tired..... as soon as i got home from school i called danny but i couldnt get a hold of him for another hour. He finally answers his phone but he tells me he cant give me a ride to Averums like he said he could cause he was already there and he didnt want to leave. I told him i would try to find a ride. so after hanging up i thought about calling denise but since she proclaimed not to drive me downtown anymore i desided that calling chris 2 was my best plan. I called him and he said he would give me a ride in about an hour. I spent the next hour getting ready and then chris showed up. Me can chris followed map quest anf got lost... of course. Apparently it told use to take 50 to watt... but there is no watt exit for 50.... well we figured it out once i told him that it was right accross for lazor force. Once i got to averum i met up with sean and danny and then sold $170 worth of cards to averum, but instead of paying in cash he told me he would send me a check. that kinda sucked cause i didnt have any money for the ptq so i told danny and he said he would hook me up. After getting some so-so trades i watched the t2 tourment that was going on. danny and sean made top 4 but had to face in the semis. dannys deck should just crash seans but danny gets land flooded in 2 games and loses the match in 3 games. the final was really retarded.... WW vs u/g block deck. the white winnie wins... not sure how cause everyone was asked to leave if we werent in the tournament. After this we went to fireballs house and pasted out. more to be added later..... Current mood:  crappy.Current music: rock is dead - marilyn manson. today was a drag cause i had lapevs class and he is retarded. Grandma dropped me off a half hour early but it was cool cause i got to learn some new card tricks and play some go fish. I spent every break like i normally do.... playing magic in the break room. I won a few, lost a few and earned a few more barnage points from my itt tech barns. keith didnt bring his cards and again didnt want to play me... even in free for all... what a fag. When i got home i played some online poker and got up to 108K when i won a hand with pocket rockets. I then called danny and asked him what deck i was playing for the PTQ this sat. He tells me Raffinity and im not to happy with that but i guess i dont have a choice... danny controls me in constructed(i play the same deck he plays, i always do good). I then went and built the deck... for the most part. I still need a few cards but danny will probably hook me up. i still need to call him to find out the final deck list. I called joey and found out he is good as well. I need to remember to get him some ravagers. denise and i looked at her old journals(real ones) today and talked about mom. i dont really have much more to say so ill go call danny. cookie it up! Current mood: numb.Current music: start now - rancid. went to chris's house today. we went swimming and he did stupid shit to pass time. after i got home i got back up to 100k on pokerroom. I watched the wpt on the travel channel until denise came over. then we went and got jack. im hella tired but i posted in the mtg community cause im looking for new players in the sac area. Current mood: awake. Current music: nowhere to go - mushroomhead. i just got let out of class for the day and have about a half an hour before denise shows up to pick me up. Today i didnt really learn anything important that deals with my class but i did learn that keith is even more retarded then i thought. We had a group test today and he got a C- and we all got an A.... How is this possable u ask... well keith didnt trust our answers ans therefor got his wrong... what a moron. On other matters i found out keith is trying to get a job at his local card shop and that he is selling his entire collection and starting over. This could be good news for me cause i will get to see his entire collection, take every good card, and then leave him with nothing of value that he can sell. I also found out today that there is a new MWS out called MTGPlay. I have seen the screen shots and they look really nice. I will have to try it out soon. im not sure what the rest of the day will hold cause i dont have a cell phone to call anyone on at this moment in time. I wish to goto chris 2s house and go swimming. well its been about 10 minutes since my last post and so far ive sat here and listened to music and did some thinking. last night before denise went to work we were talking about random stuff like the fact that i get all my catch phrases stolen and used over and over and over until i cant use them cause other people have killed them. I think its funny when i see a phrase die out and then come back 2 years down the line just to overused until it dies. here is an example. Freshman year of HS i used the phrase "like your face" alot cause it was really corny and it was kinda funny. I didnt use it in public that much but i did use it at home alot and it quickly became old. No really i cant, i just cant. I woke up around 4:00 in the am at which time i went downstairs and tried my normal trick to get myslef back to sleep... diet coke. after drinking a glass i went back upstairs and found myself tossing and turning again. then the itching started. i think cause its hot and im sweating but i cant stop itching, mostly my head. so i went into the bathroom and got my head wet but that only worked for about 10 mins and now i am wide awake and wont be able to goto bed anytime soon. Im not sure what time denise gets home cause ive never been awake when she gets home and i never hear her come in cause im a very deep sleeper. other then that everything is just fucking peachy! Current mood:  cranky.Current music: somewhere i belong - linkin park. well last night was interesting to say the least. i hung out with chris2 jerms and kevin. this is the first time ive see kevin since graduation. he now has short hair now and me and chris made fun of him. we didnt really do much saying it was 1am and he had stuff he had to do that night so we just played hack and then skated and then started beating up each other in the middle of the street. all in all.... interesting. today i played a freeroll poker tournament online and i got 82nd place out of 1800. That is the best ive done in one of those and im really happy with my finish. I got beat when i went all in with 3 jacks and got beat on the river to a flush. watched some WSOP today and i was kinda mad cause all the pros i like kept lossing. now im at denises house and she is getting ready for work. I think i will play some poker on pokerroom.com now. Current mood:  hot.Current music: stress - godsmack. i just got back from the movies. I saw dodgeball with denise and it was funny, I liked it alot except for a mexian group that kept talking throughout the entire movie. I need to remeber to call jeff kolberg when i get the chance cause i saw him at the movies. after the movie was over me and denise went to original perrys.
